Terms of service

These terms cover the use of 180D Compliance, provided by 180 Degrees IT Solutions. They sit alongside whatever service agreement or quote we have signed with your organisation. Where the two disagree, the signed agreement wins.

Who can use it

Accounts are set up by us for an organisation we have an agreement with. There is no public signup. Within that organisation, an administrator decides who gets access and what they can do.

Your content stays yours

Everything your organisation puts in, including courses, forms, inspection templates, submissions and records, belongs to your organisation. We claim no ownership of it. We use it only to run the service for you.

If our agreement ends, you can ask for your data and we will provide it in a usable form. We will not hold your compliance evidence hostage over a commercial dispute.

What we ask of you

  • Keep your Microsoft accounts secure, and remove people promptly when they leave.
  • Only put in information you are entitled to hold, and tell your staff you are using the system.
  • Do not attempt to reach another organisation's data, probe the service for weaknesses without asking us first, or upload malicious files.
  • Do not resell or white-label the service to third parties unless your agreement with us specifically allows it.

What we will and will not promise

We will keep the service running, back it up, fix faults promptly, and tell you if something serious goes wrong. Any uptime commitment is the one written into your agreement with us.

We will not promise the service is free of every fault, and we will not promise that using it makes your organisation compliant. The system records and evidences the work; doing the work, and deciding what your obligations are, remains yours.

AI-generated content

Some features draft training content and inspection templates for you. That output is a draft. It is put in front of a person to approve before it is used, on purpose. Check it before you rely on it: we do not warrant that generated content is accurate or fit for your obligations.

Charges

Fees, billing period and notice are set out in your agreement with us and are invoiced directly. There is no billing inside the product.

Ending it

Either side can end the agreement on the notice it specifies. We may suspend access immediately if it is being used to attack the service or break the law, and we will tell you why. After it ends we keep your data for a short wind-down period so you can retrieve it, then delete it.

Liability and law

Nothing here limits rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law. Subject to that, our liability is limited as set out in your agreement. These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.

Changes

If we change these terms in a way that materially affects you, we will tell you before it takes effect rather than quietly updating this page.
